- The Sparrow, by Mary Doria Russell
- The Tombs of Atuan, by Ursula K. Le Guin
- Maximum City, by Suketu Mehta
- The Last Continent, by Terry Pratchett (I keep wanting to read something of his, but don't know where to start. I pulled this off of the bookstore shelf randomly. Well. The wizard hat wearing kangaroo did influence me a little bit. Any fans of his that could point me to a better starting place?)
- The Chosen, Chaim Potok
- The Women of Brewster Place, Gloria Naylor
- The Ruby in the Smoke, Philip Pullman
- Rough Stone Rolling, Richard Bushman (Someday, I will finish this book.)
- Relic, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child
What's in your stack?

I realize they are in no particular order, but Relic should be closer to the top.
My stack?
Diamond of Darkhold by Jeanne DuPrau
Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke
World War Z by Max Brooks (I've started this)
An American Childhood by Annie Dillard (also been started)
Impact by Lincoln Child
5 books by Douglas Preston
My newest version of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (someday I would like to own one by Currer Bell)
First AGAIN. And Jamie didn't even tell me she posted. I saw it on my feed. SO THERE.
I read The Chosen in high school and remember really liking it.
I usually have a "to finish reading" list. Right now: The Virgin Suicides. By some creepy man. I'm too lazy to go find out his name:)
Jeffrey Eugenides! I read another book by him a while ago, Middlesex. It was really good, but also creepy.
Rough stone is in my stack too. I love it, but man is that thing thick!
